Ben Rocks, Fri. Edition
Hey yo,
Ben has made some new upgrades to the site today that I'm brimming with excitement to tell you about. First, he's set it so that now Secret Achievements always appear at the bottom of the list (for you "hey don't fucking spoil me" people), and secondly, users can now submit tiles to existing Achievements. How awesome is that?
Speaking of tiles, I've added some to both Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, and Mercenaries 2. We're still missing a few from both games though, so if you have em, use our new tool to throw em up!

Geometry Wars 2 - Millionaire Walkthrough
Please enable JavaScript to enjoy this flash-based video. Find out how at this link.
So, with this, our final Mathematical Conflict Resolution video, we have our first title completely hunted on Achievement Hunter. Today, we finish off the Millionaire Achievement, showing the Evolved and Sequence gametypes. Pretty straightforward stuff as these are the two easiest gametypes to do this on. So, what title do you want us to completely tackle next?
In other news, our quest for GTA IV pigeon killings, specifically our Endangered Species guide, will continue normally next wednesday. All the traveling to Toronto for X'08 Canada and Fan Expo, followed by PAX 2008 really ate up capturing opportunities with jam packed weekends rounded off with a bunch of traveling.

Xbox 360 now only $199

Holy crap. An Xbox 360 Arcade is going to be priced at just $199 starting this Friday effectively making the Xbox the cheapest current generation console out there.
"We are thrilled to be the first next-generation console on the market to reach $199, a price that invites everyone to enjoy Xbox 360," said Don Mattrick, senior vice president of the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft. "Xbox 360 delivers amazing performance at an extraordinary value with the leading online service and best lineup of games, downloadable movies and TV shows available from a console. The majority of consumers make the decision to buy consoles once the price falls to this mark, making this an important milestone for consumers and the industry."
Alright, who is buying a 360 for their garage like me?

Mythic Achievements?
While prepping for PAX I happened to glance over to Bungie's booth and I spotted a menu screen for something called "Halo 3 Mythic." Rumors are flying all over the place about what exactly the hell that means.
No one is exactly sure yet, but apparently it has to do with adding a crapload of achievements. Mark gave me the heads up and sent me a link over to CVG with a list of them all.
Looks like there are a bit more than 250 points in this update as well, which would be a first for an Xbox title. We'll keep you up to date as soon as more info is available.

Ben Rocks, Wed. Edition
Ben just made a small update to the site that I'm really excited about. Now there's a breadcrumb on every video page that links back to the game's main page. This may not seem like that big of a deal, but it makes navigation so much faster. Thanks dude!

Big Update
Hey Guys,
I've got a lot to talk about today. First and foremost, is Jack's latest video. If you've haven't watched it yet, I recommend it.
Moving along, we updated a lot of Achievements and tiles today. Here's a list:
Fallout 3 (still missing a few tiles)
Gears of War 2
Joust (don't know how we'd missed this one.)
Gin Rummy
Shred Nebula
NCAA Football 09 (still missing the tile for "What where you thinking?!?!")
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (thanks tonyski)
Too Human (thanks anthonypants)
Tenchu Z
Ninja Gaiden II
Tales of Vesparia (list is still incomplete)
...and the list goes on. Also, I noticed that tonyski has created a nice walkthrough for GH: Aerosmith. Thanks dude! If anyone else has any walkthroughs, please post them. We're always looking for more. Additionally, we have Ben working on a couple of coding things to improve the site. Mainly, we're looking for a way to let users submit tiles to existing Achievements, and a way to highlight and reward users for submitting games, Achievements, tiles, and walkthroughs - (maybe in the form of milestones?).
As always, if you have any ideas to improve the site, or info you'd like to share, post it in the forums, or drop us an email. Achievement Hunter is off to a great start, but we have a long way to go before we've chronicled and mastered every Achievement out there!

Please enable JavaScript to enjoy this flash-based video. Find out how at this link.
Today I bring you an older achievement, one you may have passed over. This is for you really good Achievement Hunters out there. This is the True Identity achievement for Rainbow Six Vegas. (The first one.)
Pardon the scratchy voice, I'm still recovering from PAX. Enjoy!
