RT in Detroit would be awesome, I been wanting to see about joining a production company. A video game based production company would be the best to be part of.

Michigan is a great place to buy land honestly, Detroit has super cheap plots of land, and in the Upper Peninsula you can buy 40 acres real cheap, the only problem being is Detroit is ghetto and in the Upper Peninsula you're lucky if you have electricity unless you live in St. Ignis, Escanaba or Marquette

Not Detroit, move to Battle Creek. Oddly enough where Postum was made when it was made by Post.

Yeah, but then they'd have to fight for the flag constantly, against those crazy red and blue zealots.

Yup. Life in my hometown. Constantly caught between two armies of morons fighting over stupid shit with the scent of burnt cereal and hopelessness in the air. Smells like home.

At the end they talked about wishing they could go back and watch battlegrounds games to see how everything went down. I loved Halo 3's introduction of Theater Mode for that exact reason. I spent so much time in there just watching games fascinated how you could have a relatively small game of 4v4 and yet you'd have players who would never interact during the entire match. Or how if one guy turned his head just a few degrees he would have seen the guy sneaking off with his flag. Really interesting stuff.

Everyone gave Gavin shit for his question about "can you just buy up another state" but it's a very valid question considering places like Toronto (I know, not the U.S., but just the first city that springs to my mind) which have restrictions on how much property you can own, specifically if you aren't living in or doing anything with said property.

Given new technology like airb&b, it's very profitable to buy up property in large cities and just run a hotel service. Unfortunately this can lead to a lack of housing for permanent residents which drives housing prices way up. So in certain places, there are indeed restrictions on purchasing property if you aren't a permanent resident. I don't think that's the case for Detroit since it's not much of a travel destination and it has an excess of abandoned properties anyways, but it wasn't a stupid question if you ask me.

There are states in India, where you aren't allowed to buy land in states that aren't allowed to domicile.

Sadly there no laws against it but that happens a lot in the touristy areas of the UK too (like the Lake District) where people buy houses as a 2nd property/holiday home, and the demand pushes the prices up so locals cannot afford to live there.

My '93 Accord was brown. My '14 Civic is brown. Then again I live in Sacramento, CA. Maybe not the most exciting place for car colors.

Neither are fords, but I get what you're saying. It's just that a lot of car companies don't really do brown these days. Silver, black, white, charcoal, red, and blue are very common these days, while green, brown, and yellow are fairly rare.

Also it's funny how they mention buying a block in Detroit for $200k. That'd be in a really bad outlying neighborhood. $200k would get you a 400 square foot apartment downtown lol. The difference a couple miles can make...

It's because she's pretty, but her personality really shines in her mannerisms and speaking. So you look at a picture of her and you go "Oh yeah she's pretty." Then you see her on the podcast and it's like "Oh wow she's gorgeous!" because of how much her personality enhances her attractiveness, if you know what i mean? You can't get used to her attractiveness because she's so rarely on camera and photos don't do her justice

If she wasn't as baseline pretty as she is you'd say "She doesn't photograph well"

I'm about an hour and a half SW of downtown Detroit, and can confirm- RT Michigan would be absolutely fantastic.  Too bad Michigan doesn't have those film-making tax breaks anymore...

(And even though winters in Michigan can be a PITA, everything else can be pretty fantastic.  Especially the west coast in summer?  Absolutely beautiful.)
