I've always wanted to see the schedule. I know like nothing about it but it's cool hearing about the film they made. Guess it was lost to time

Burnie is right, you can't own within a couple of feet of the water. It can still be called "private property" but the government owns all shoreline in the US.

Why does Podcast 77 take so long to download? All of the others are super fast, but for some reason, 77 gets stuck at around 1.9/11.6 mb and doesn't move.

    Angry!!

I keep listening to this podcast and one thing keeps bugging me.

Burnie, The achievement is not to use same horse for 20 levels its for not HITCHING a new horse. My horse died loads of time and i got the achievement because I did not hitch a new horse.

Also I looked at the Achievement Hunter list and it showed it on the achievement list so I new beofre I played it to not hitch a new Horse.

Sorry Burnie, I didn't want to rant but now I have I feel better for it.

    And que the abusive responses...........

Re: Burnie's call for stories of being in the right place at the right time-

Both of my parents, and several friends of theirs, were at Laurel Shopping Center in Laurel, MD when George Wallace got shot in the '70s.

So I was at work, today, and I received THIS...

I wonder if this traveled from Austin, via Geoff's strip club allowance...

  • capps114

actually, there are at least 40 (allegedly) private beaches per ocean coast within a country, possibly more depending on country size. It also depends on the country's percentage of wealth population.
So, if you're rich enough, you can buy just about anything. Rules don't apply to the extremely wealthy...

I also know certain people who, if you knock them down and put a blanket over them, will also think they're dead. And no illegal or legal substance is needed for them.

I think I remember reading somewhere in my coursework (environmental history/water policy) that if you are able ride in an aquatic vehicle of some sort (kayak, boat, etc) in the body of water in question, then this body of water is considered public land.

This proved problematic a couple years ago because a woman kayaked in the LA aqueduct or something, starting a huge litigious fight.

  • fuckinninjas

Even though I'm sitting right here at the computer, I'm still too lazy to find actual sources to site. My neighbor, who owns some land down by a creek explained to me that the actual water is public. If someone were to canoe down the creek, they wouldn't be trespassing so long as they did not touch the land. If those people were to get out of their canoe for whatever reason, if their feet are touching the ground it's considered trespassing. Something along those lines anyway.

Jack, do you want to hit up Lexington, KY? It's horse riding capital here! (if you like spending money to ride on guided trails... which is okay but not the best)

I love that the Wikipedia article now reads:

Cribbing or crib biting (U.K. & Ire.) is a compulsive behavior or "stable vice" seen in some horses. It involves the horse grabbing a solid object, such as the stall door, fence rail, or Burnie's car with its incisors, arching its neck, pulling against the object, and sucking in air.

Wonder how long that will last.

Heh. I was just on RDR free roam last night/early this morning with a friend, who kept throwing knives at my horse everytime I called for it... Well by the end of the night we were mass producing unicorns and bearicorns at an alarming rate... And then I went to sleep, woke up, listened to the podcast, and the unicorn is mentioned in the podcast. How ironic.

My dental receptionist was Matthew Good's mother.

My mom taught Sunday School to Spencer and Abigail Breslin while they were in town filming.

My dad was driving a car for Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, and was asked to be a doorman. He held the door for Johnny Depp.

I know the bald dude who's dragging away Mothman at the beginning of Watchmen.

A friend of mine was in both F4 and X3 - in the former, he's the medic in the top right corner after Johnny Storm crashes his motorcycle. In the latter, he was an army dude watching the screen as soldiers raid the forest full of Multiple Men.

I'm pretty sure Bono saw me sing in church. A friend who's a huge U2 fan waited for him after a concert, and took a picture with him and invited him to church. That Sunday, I was singing/leading the worship portion, and I saw a guy who looked like Bono (in sunglasses) come in late, sit at the very back, then leave early. Coincidence? Maybe.

If you've heard of Hey Ocean!, the lead singer is my friend's brother.
