...and I'll be honest that I don't really know what to do with it or how to spread the word without overtly begging for money, so I'm creating a journal entry. The main reason I made the page is so that if by some miracle I actually get some people to fund me, I can work more on personal projects of mine with motivation to actually do so frequently instead of getting distracted by video games and other content. Currently the main project I'm working on is a full RPG, and it is going to be a rather lengthy process. If you're interested in finding out what exactly I'm doing with it, (and that's of course also if you're one of the two people who read this journal entry), then feel free to head over to my page which I'll link below. Even if you don't want to support me on there, I'm always interested in hearing what thoughts on my ideas are, as well as suggestions. I'll also put out updates on there as I progress in the process of making said game, so it might be worth checking back from time to time if it sounds like the kind of game you'd be interested in.....

Just wanted to share this video for all one of you who might read it. Honestly, while I've always been a bit biased towards Youtube in general for various reasons regarding their interface and even the community there, I do frequently use it to watch videos from content creators who can't afford to have their own site. I feel like the information in this video is something that anyone who uses Youtube at all should be aware of, whether you're just a viewer or are a content creator yourself......

This is mostly a bug report, which the website lacks any official method to submit as far as I know, unlike the old site. I originally posted this in the general discussion forum since I was unaware of where to go, but was recommended to post it here. The rest of this post is mostly just a copy/paste of my original one, so just a heads up if you saw that version of this thread first......

My issue is that for the past few days I haven't been able to load the AH or RT websites properly on Firefox at all, even after clearing my cookies or trying to load it in a private window which treats even sites you frequent as though you were visiting them for the first time. I have also tried disabling my add-ons, with no effect there either. The site works completely fine on Google Chrome, (which I'm not a fan of, but keep as a back up browser in case something like this were to occur), but any time I load any portion of the site on Firefox, the web pages display incorrectly. This does not happen on any other site I visit....

The specifics of the incorrect display are that the entire page is solid white, all text is left aligned, the only images that show are thumbnails and profile images, (ie: no backgrounds of any kind), and arein full scale without being shrunk to normal thumbnail or profile image size, all drop down menus don't exist and in their place it simply shows a blue text link, and no videos can be watched at all. The short version is that this renders the site almost completely unusable aside from messaging or reading journals, (both of which work very poorly with this issue).....

I'm currently running Firefox version 43.0.3, and have been since Monday, December 28th. I was not noticing any issue with the website until Monday, January 4th, and had used it to watch the new episode of RWBY on Sunday. Are there any other Firefox users that are having this issue, or is it something on my end that I can't find?

Hey, is there anywhere to go here on the new site to send a bug report, or should I just make a forum post like this one? I know on the old site there was a specific location to make bug reports and feature suggestions, but since the site change either it's hidden extremely well, or no longer exists in any capacity.....

If it's simply a matter of making a forum thread on it, then I suppose this is my thread on said topic. My issue is that for the past few days I haven't been able to load the AH or RT websites properly on Firefox at all, even after clearing my cookies or trying to load it in a private window which treats even sites you frequent as though you were visiting them for the first time. Again, if there is actually a place to submit a bug report properly, please direct me to it and I'll do so. Otherwise, are there any other Firefox users that are having this issue, or is it something on my end that I can't find?

    • Sorting All New Videos by "Most Recent"? Also a mild rant about the site itself.

in Forums > Sorting All New Videos by "Most Recent"? Also a mild rant about the site itself. | Follow this topic

Just a quick question, if I've overlooked it, but a complaint if I haven't. Is there any way to sort all the new content in descending order by "Most Recent"?

I loved how on the old site you could just click the "newest" tab, and all the videos would be listed from newest to oldest. On this new site however, it seems a bit more random, with the "recently added" tab starting out with the newest first, but then you'll see one that says "posted 2 days ago" followed by a couple that say "posted 12 hours ago", followed by one that says "posted 1 day ago". It's making it impossible for me to go through and just see what's new without having to go to each show individually. It's entirely possible that I've missed an option somewhere, but if not, then this is a really big issue for those of us who try to watch most of the content, because if we miss a day and don't have the release schedule memorized, then we have to put in a lot of extra work to find out just what we missed.....

I've been a HUGE advocate and fan of the RT site prior to this update. However, with more and more problems like this showing up with simply navigating the site, and the new media player having so many issues that it's nearly impossible to watch a video in a single continuous viewing, I may seriously have to consider only coming here for the Sponsor only content, and switching to watching YouTube for the daily stuff, as well as waiting until after it goes public on there if it's a Sponsor Early screening. That should never be the case if a company has their own website. It should ALWAYS be better for the fans to visit the website than to watch it through a third party. So far since the update though, that's far from the case.....

I do realize that the site is highly buggy right now, and that they warned us that it would be, but it doesn't seem to me like this is just bugs. It seems like it's partly a stylistic choice that went horribly wrong by losing a lot of features and functionality in some regards while gaining a few in others. I get that they wanted it to be more mobile friendly, but now it seems like it's considerably unfriendly to those of us who use an old fashioned computer. The only thing I particularly like about the new site so far is the ability to directly reply to other users in the comments of videos, and the return of Mod Points.....

Also, while I'm ranting. Why do we not have "Awards" anymore? I looked quite a bit in the profile pages, and couldn't find them if they're still there. I appreciate returning Mod Points, by why take away our Awards?

      /endrant

Back to the original question though; is there a way to sort the videos as a whole by their actual release time?

So, I've been a big fan of a show on Youtube called Game Theories for a long time now, and the most recent episode was a Minecraft episode that scientifically proves that Creepers don't hate us. They actually love us so much that they explode to cover us with their spores......

So, yea, for all zero of you that will ever read this post, I have published my first book. It's just a simple short story, but it would mean a lot to me if you would purchase it and give me feedback. It can be bought through "Create Space", (which is an Amazon affiliate), in paperback form for $5 plus shipping and handling, or it can be purchased directly for your Kindle for $3. At some point in the future, the paperback will also be available to purchase directly through Amazon, but I don't know for sure when that will be, as it has to go through even more processing. Also, I would prefer if you purchased the paperback through Create Space, as it is the same price, yet I get more revenue back from the sale since it doesn't have to go through Amazon itself........

The Kindle version is available world wide, and the paperback version is available in both the US and Europe, though as I am still somewhat unfamiliar with Create Space's shipping system, you may have to wait for the Amazon version to get it shipped to Europe........

No. Live in the middle of nowhere where the only internet available is shitty satellite internet. In other words, I'd be spending $60 a month to lag walk every five feet. Not exactly my idea of worth it.....

      Hola.
Thanks for that link but the problem was that the codes themselves are specific to the disk that you're using.
So every disk has different codes, and the site that you linked is actually the first site I went on for the cheats...although the link they provide isn't active anymore.
      Oh well.
      Thanks anyways.
      Cheers.
