Well thought I would pop in real quick. Since we've last spoken. I've refined my Cammy for Capcom vs. Marvel
Started a hard core workout program so I can do a Lady Spartan justice, when you hang out with guys like this you gotta keep pace.
Became the PINK TERROR, I mean Jem from Jem & the Holograms
created a Mad Max Marauder for the DC09 parade complete with bull whip and wicked spurs
and my crowning glory for the year..... A UNSC Command Pinup uniform. This is a completely from scratch costume. No pattern, no prior garment. I took the reference shots from Halo3 of Miranda Keyes and styled her uniform as a nod to the 1940's pinup girls painted on the side of airplanes.
Then I met the 405th and fell in love. Vrogy and Skullcandy Girl have brought me to the dark side and I'm.... wait for it.... I AM ODST! Progress pictures soon

I've been riding this high for a few weeks now and just have to share.
I don't know if any of you follow horse racing but this seems to be "THE YEAR" to watch. The links are the the races the Kentucky Oaks, the Kentuck Derby and the Preakness.
I've an avid equestrian and have a very close relationship with my trainer Lesli. She used to have a client named Lisa Funk. Lisa Funk is engaged to Calvin Borel (this name may or may not mean anything to you). Lesli calls me the weekend of the Kentucky Derby and says she's taken the weekend off to visit friends and that I should watch the Kentucky Oaks, which is the filly race on Friday.
I'm to keep an eye out for Rachel Alexandra the horse her friend Calvin is riding. Thus I proceed to watch one of the most fantastic horse races I've ever seen. This filly paces the leader for most of the track and then through the last turn just walks away from the field to win by 20 lengths (that's retarded big). She sets a track record. Calvin says that this is the best horse he's ever ridden. The owner says that fillies should ride with fillies and colts should ride with colts. The Triple Crown are colt races.
The next day Calvin is scheduled to ride a 50-1 shot cheap-o-depot horse named Mine That Bird. I read in the sports page the night before where they had a run down on who to bet on and the exact words were "save your money." Les tells me that when her husband and Calvin make it to the track the morning of the Derby they find out that the favorite has scratched (dropped out). Calvin calls Lisa his fiance and asked her to bring his suit. She laughs at him but does any way (he tells this story on Leno). Thus proceeds to be an EVEN MORE EXCITING race. Mine That Bird is DEAD LAST for most of the race, so far behind he is often out of the camera shot, and then the last quarter mile it like all the other horses are standing still. Calvin weaves him in and out of traffic yelling at one jockey to get out of the way (you can see them scoot left) and then just juices on through a microscopic hole to win. Les told me that they can tell how fact they're going by counting the posts in between the quarter markers. That horse ran a quarter in less than 25 seconds. He was HAULING ASSThis is the biggest upset since the 1940s and the second largest payout. Lisa bet on the favorite. Lesli bet on Calvin. (also mentioned on Leno). Rachel Alexandra was 3 seconds faster than the Derby racers.
Fast forward to the Preakness which is the second leg of the Triple Crown. Rachel Alexandra has been sold to someone significantly LESS sexist and they have decided to enter her in the generally colt only Preakness (costs $100 grand to do this) and she's to ride against Mine That Bird. Calvin has to choose between the Rachel Alexandra and Mine That Bird as his ride. He chooses Rachel because, like he said, she's the best horse he's ever ridden (and he's ridden THOUSANDS of races). This was another INTENSE RACE! Rachel has position 13 (very low) in the race, where as Mine That Bird I believe was 1 as the favorite. Rachel stays at the head of the pack for most of the race and Mine that Bird is yet again at the back with Mike Davis in the irons. She's working hard against the boys and the last leg of the race, Mine That Bird (god I'm sick of typing that long ass name) puts the hooves to the dirt and books it to the front Rachel barely holds on to the lead for FIRST and Mine that Bird comes in Second. It was NUTS. She's the first filly to win the Preakness in 85 years and Calvin is two races in to having a personal Triple Crown.
The next race is the Belmont Stakes. Right now they're talking about not racing Rachel as that is a longer race. Mine That Bird is yet again out of a jockey (Davis has prior engagements) and hopefully Bird's owners don't have their noses outta wack and will let Calvin ride again. But the long and the short of it is the last few weeks have been amazing in the horse industry and I'm glad the poster boy for horse racing is not only a very talented rider but a wonderful person.
Les & Calvin
So sorry for it being so long but I thought it was an awesome story.

Points if you get the title reference.....
Rob and I were married on March 15, 2009. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding and everything went wonderfully. I'm thoroughly thankful of all my friends and family who attended. And I'll be posting pictures soon.

I know my posting is quite irregular but what are you going to do? Post more? I think not.
Things that are going on.
- I'm planning a nice classy wedding. Mine to be precise. It's going to be fantastic
- The honeymoon can't come soon enough.
- I bought Rob's wedding band and it's EXACTLY what we were looking for.
- I started P90X two weeks and three days ago and it's like fitness heroin. You hate it but you can't stop. It's probably the most intense work out regiment I've ever had and it's supposed to show you the best results. We'll see.
- I did my first pre 1840s Rendezvous last weekend and it was fantastic. My friend Jenny and her husband and family do this every year. She's a third generation attendee and offered to feed me and shelter me for my first trip. A pre-1840s rendezvous is for people who like ren faires but find them too cheesey, don't like the tourists and need them to be a 100 times more hard core. It's set more during colonial and American frontier times and you're living primitive for a week. All your food is cooked over the camp fire. You live in a period tent. You wear period clothes, all your cooking utinsels and everthing are period and there were about 1500 campers. It was intense. I only stayed for a night but I want to do the full week next year.
I went shopping and bought a box for my tarot cards and the lady gave me a 100 year old piece of silk to wrap my cards in. I bought a sweet straw hat, a claddagh pin for my friend Dawn, a spoon ring and a sleep skin. You could buy all sorts of stuff. Rock candy, antiques, clothes, beeswax candles and pretty much a skin from every type of animal that would have been trapped 200 years ago.
We had London broil cooked over the camp fire and I had a little earthenware jug with butterscotch schnapps in it. After the sun set the Indians (real ones) did a drum circle with chanting and then I went and listed to the people play music in the "town". It's pitch black and we just have little lanterns and I turn to my right and there's this guy in FULL Red Coat attire and he looks JUST LIKE Duncan from Last of the Mohicans and I about lost it. He was ginger haired and everything. I slept in my cloak (which I made special for this) on a pile of sheep skins.
It was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
- I have way too much shit to do.

This is not for the faint of heart. The twisted disgusting genius of James Gunn (the guy who did Slither) has come up with PG Porn. It's for people who love everything about porn but the sex. If you're easily offended or sicked out, just don't bother.
Also they have some of our favorite actors. Nathan Fillion and Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor)

Not THAT kinda movie you pervs
No, a friend of mine through the Wolf Pack Elite is a just for fun film maker and he writes these little shorts that are nonsensical and funny and then he gets his lame ass freinds (us) to make them. This is my acting debut folks. Be gentle.
I Present to you: Patty the Zombie Pirate
ALSO I would like to point out that I was 100% NOT typecasted in this role. Do you honestly think I would be caught dead acting THIS retarded?
ALSO ALSO I would like to point out that I am the Zombie Consultant on this work. Dawn and I worked on her "movement" and "vocalizations" I asked her to have a hint of sadness. Like a drunkard who's lost a bet.
"Not now Chief, I'm in the fucking zone!"
I'm an equestrian, an adventurer, a geek, a comic book collector, a movie buff, a gamer, and a costumer. I'm not your average girl.
Nathan Fillion once told me I was "together"
You can't stop the signal.
BIGGEST RULE: No random friend requests. At least TRY and talk to me first. I will deny your request if you don't talk to me first. I have a very strict "Do Not Be Creepy Clause" I can't possibly STRESS THIS MORE!
